"is written:
will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and cancel the intelligence of the intelligent.
Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? In fact, since in the wisdom of God the world, with all its wisdom, did not know God, it pleased God to save believers through the foolishness of preaching. ...
Consider the your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise by human standards, not many mighty, not many noble.
But God chose what is foolish in the world to confound the wise,
God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong,
God chose what is low and despised in the world and what is nothing to reduce to nothing things that are, so that no human being might boast before God
And it is for him are ye in Christ Jesus, who through the work of God is made unto us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, because, as is wrote:
But God chose what is foolish in the world to confound the wise,
God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong,
God chose what is low and despised in the world and what is nothing to reduce to nothing things that are, so that no human being might boast before God

who boasts, boast in the Lord . "
